• Armed Assault
  I loved Operation Flashpoint. To be honest, I still play it today. Only a few games appeal to me, and this one had a very unique atmosphere. I still remember how nervous I was when all my virtual comrades died in a helicopter crash and I was alone in a forrest full of enemies… And I’m sure ArmA will get even more amazing, especially when it comes to multiplayer matches. I love tactical coop shooters like Ghost Recon and this game might overcome anything I’ve played before.
• Gothic 3
  I bought the Collectors Edition some weeks ago, and shortly after that the second part appeared on some German game magazine CD for 7 EUR or so. I don’t regret buying it anyway. I did not get very far in the first part yet, so it will take some time until I can get to part 3, but by now I’m sure I’ll buy the third part as well. Until then, most bugs will be fixed, hopefully.
• Supreme Commander
  This is something like a must-have for me being a wannabe-RTS-developer. I watched a video of this one and was discouraged to work on DVW for days.
• Dark Messiah of Might & Magic
  If you did not play the demo yet, do it now. It made a very innovative and atmospheric impression to me and I’m eager to play more.
• Company of Heroes
  This falls into the same category as Supreme Commander, I guess. A must-have. The demo was just great.

And these five games have one thing in common: I saw videos or played demos of all of them which nearly made me cry. It’s so amazing to see what the professionals get done today. (Damn, I’d love to be part of that story again.) Other games I find interesting are Rainbow Six Vegas, Bioshock and Ghost Recon 3, but I don’t know much about them now. As only CoH is released yet and Dark Messiah is scheduled for the end of October, I must figure out which I want to get first…
