HashTab is a Windows shell extension which adds a tab called "File Hashes" to the Windows Explorer file properties. The tab contains the MD5, SHA1 and CRC-32 file hashes.

VMware player is a free desktop virtualization tool (direct download for Windows version 2.0.2 build 59824). I use this to run Ubuntu linux images on my Windows machine where I compile Linux binaries for DVW.
